This company includes a re-seller of domains and domain related products and services, a private registration service, a research and development affiliate, and a membership-based discount registrar. GoDaddy.com and advertising agency believe that the negative publicity hurt sales of Jackson’ next CD and saw an opportunity in all of the attention following the Janet and Timberlake incident. They decided to place their commercial on Super Bowl XXXVIII which would make fun of the increasing broadcast censorship, while gaining awareness for GoDaddy.
Then, the problem is did the negative publicity help GoDaddy.com success. Most company usually thought that either positive or negative publicity is good for the company because it’s an opportunity to customer. It might be only a temporary opportunities not everlasting opportunity if your product or service is poor.
